A Bit About Me
Kia ora koutou,
I was born in Taiwan and raised in Tamaki Makaurau from the age of 10. I graduated from Auckland Medical School in 2002, after working in Northland and Australia, followed by an OE, I returned to Aotearoa where I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I was drawn to General Practice by the long term relationships I get to build with staff and patients. Each day is varied and unique.
I gained my Fellowship in General Practice in 2016. I enjoy all aspects of General Practice, in particular women and children's health as well as performing minor procedures. I also speak Mandarin and aspire to learn te reo Maori.
I live in Titirangi with my husband, three children and a mini schnauzer. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, reading, cooking/baking, and spending time with my family and friends.
"He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata."
"What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people."
Nga mihi nui,
Jean
